As most of you know the KCCT is comming. All you need is a pencil, an eraser, the test, and a whole lot of courage. Think of it as just answering questions from a long lesson.
In 3rd grade students at Liberty start taking the Kentucky Core Content Test (KCCT) KCCT is a test that measures "core content" of corse! Students at Liberty take this test at the end of the year. Every Friday Ms.D gives us open-responce questions based on core content and Ms.D also gives us a short KCCT like assessment for both reading and math which are also based on core content. The students can score: 4, 3, 2, 1, 0 and blank on open-responce questions with 4 being the best and Blank being the worst. On mutiple choice the students can score: Distinguished ,Proficient, Aprintice High, Aprintice Med, Aprintice Low, Novice High, Novice Med, Novice Non-Preforming
Predictive Assessment Series
In 2nd Grade Students at Liberty start taking the Predictive Assessment Series (PAS) The PAS measures progress through out the year and Predicts student's preformance on the KCCT. The students will take this test on the computer 3 times a year.
At Liberty students take the MST in Kindergarden-3rd grade
The MST measures mastery of the students math skills for there grade level Math Standards. This assessment is taken by the students 3 times a year.
Students take the DRA2 in Kindergarden-3rd grade Some times 4-5 if preforming below grade level. The DRA2 is used to measure reading level and reading skills.This assessment is taken at least 3 times a year.
Students take the Reagan Smith Fayette County Student Assessment (RSFCSA) in Ms.D's class only.Students will only take this assessment in Ms.D's class because "Reagan Smith" is a student in Ms.D's class and also writes this webiste and! puts the RSFCSA assessment togeather.The RSFCSA measures the core subjects, Reading and Math.Sometimes in different publications or versions of the test also test different subjects. The RSFCSA in taken by the students at least 1 time a year.
